Wide Coverage Area
Your communications can cover a lot of territory with a big footprint –
a 5000-mile-wide footprint.
A single geostationary satellite can easily blanket a country, continent or hemisphere with service.
Ground sites will obtain “line-of-sight” with the satellite in space. This makes communication possible with any other site that can “see” the same satellite. As a result of this simple geometry, two connected locations can be as far apart as 6,000 miles (9,600 km) – or as close as next door.
